Carme Vives studied Graphic Design in Eina Art & Design school in Barcelona. She started her professional career in different graphic studios in town until 1986, when she opened her own studio. At the same time, she also began teaching Graphic Design Projects in Eina.

The direction of her career and the academic recognition of her work in the field of the graphic arts have led her to participate as a member of a jury in several national and international awards.

Professionally, she stands out working for public institutions such as town councils, Generalitat de Catalunya (autonomous government), Diputació de Barcelona (county council), museums and foundations. In all of them she has developed a great number of projects in the cultural field: exhibitions, graphic identities, publications, promotional works and catalogues, as the ones you can see next.
